Art. 1
The Flemish part of the country comprises the provinces:
- East Flanders; West Flanders ; Antwerp; Limburg and Flemish Brabant
The Walloon part of the country includes the provinces:
- Names; Shutter ; Luxembourg ; Hainaut ; Walloon Brabant and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The participants living in one of the 19 municipalities of Brussels choose the Flemish or Walloon part of the country, but must inform us of their choice with their first entry.
Art. 2
The current championship is open to all enthusiasts in possession of a license KBDB and registered on our new website www.herbotschampionship.be
and also those of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg who comply with our instructions and provide us with the necessary documents for classification.
Art. 3
The following information must be clearly indicated for each flight:
- license KBDB
- name and place of residence
- the category
- the date of release
- the place of relaese
- the distance to the pigeon loft
- the number of pigeons with at least 10 participants (see remark at point A Best colony)
- the signed pigeons (only the 3 first signed)
- the prizes obtained
- the points obtained in the 3 categories
- You can enter your results weekly via our website www.herbotschampionship.be where you can follow the ranking
Art. 4
For the calculation of the points we refer to the “Points table”, these points are multiplied depending on the category.
Your points are calculated automatically via the form on the website.
- Speed: from 40 to 300 km -> points x2. A maximum of 5000 pigeons are taken into account for the calculation of the points. If the number of pigeons exceeds 5000 pigeons, the points are calculated on the maximum of 5000 pigeons.
- Middle distance: from 250 km up to and including the races in the Long Distance category -> points x3
- Long Distance: the official Long Distance and Extreme Long Distance national program KBDB
COMMENTS:
- Limoges can only be chosen as a Long Distance race, as derived from the national program KBDB
- Even if a score of more than 2000 points is achieved according to the points table, 2000 points is the maximum.
- The international results are not accepted.
Art. 5
Points won with the youngsters are not valid in the categories old pigeons and/or yearlings.
Art. 6
Only the 3 first signed pigeons can be entered in:
- the “Best Loft” championship
- the general rankings
with at least 10 participants
In case of doubles, choose the result that gives you the most points.
Art. 7
In the rankings:
- old birds and yearlings belong to the same classification, with retention of the planned dates (see G to K).
The following flights are eligible per week:
- one speed race old birds or yearlings,
- one middle distance race old birds or yearlings,
- one long distance or marathon race old birds or yearlings,
- one sprint race for youngsters,
- one middle distance race for youngsters
Art. 7bis :
For the Ace pigeon competitions, the rule counts in all : one flight per weekend !
Art. 8
The weekday competitions and the competitions held on a public holiday are NOT allowed, so only on Saturday or Sunday, except for national - international flights with release on Friday or custom dates according to the KBDB
Art. 9
Only results with a distance of 40 Km or more are eligible, while the number of participating pigeons for the relevant category must be at least 100. With at least 10 participants. When the distances were specified, this means e.g. from 40 km to 300 km. ie from 40,001 km up to and including 300,000 km. This interpretation is valid for all categories and distances!
Art. 10
All results submitted by the fancier must be kept by the fancier. They must be available for inspection both in season and at the end of the year.
Incorrect results will not be accepted. In that case, you request an improved result signed by the ranker and the president of the relevant company or association. We only accept original results, so no copies. A certificate or proof of results achieved, of any origin whatsoever, will not be accepted.
Art. 11
The points must be received at the latest at the end of the following month (e.g. the points from April AT THE LATEST end of May...) - If you get a better result afterwards, you can always use the previous one, which you already entered. , to adjust.
For the races of the month of September, as well as for the submission of the ace pigeons, the deadline is October 15th !
Art. 12
There may be no duplication of use in the awarding of prizes in the general classifications. In case of double use, the winning fancier will be mentioned by name on the place won, but the corresponding prize will pass halfway to the next winning fancier.
There may not be any double use for the same pigeon, classified in different Ace Pigeon classifications.
On the other hand, several different pigeons from the same fancier may be classified in different Ace pigeon classifications and win a prize.
However, only one prize will be awarded per fancier in the same category.
The prizes won in a general ranking are combined with the prizes won in the ace pigeon competitions. Also included with the Ace Pigeons of the month Herbots.
The 4 winners of the Golden As competition will be honored separately
In case of equality of points, the fancier with the most points, and in case there would also be equality, the largest number of Km/prizes will be given priority. All this is combined into one price per enthusiast.
Art. 13
All incorrect information, as far as we can determine that it was done voluntarily, will lead to disqualification of the fancier involved. This can also happen during the racing season.
Art. 14
At least the 5 first ranked per category must submit their results to the responsible persons for review at the end of the season. The results for control that would not be sent to us before 6 NOVEMBER will result in the final exclusion from all rankings. There is also the possibility to e-mail your results, in good order and together, for verification (FULL RESULTS: with the number of pigeons and the number of participating fanciers). As well as forwarding a link to official results is accepted. Results that are not sent to us in time and cannot be checked will result in the final exclusion of the participant.
Art. 15
The results sent to us for review will be classified by date, and the ace pigeons will be underlined.
Art. 16
The same release place may only be taken into account once, per category (speed or middle distance or long distance) and per weekend. A result can also only be taken into account once for the Ace pigeons, either for sprint or for middle distance...
